LAHORE: The Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) arrested 49 criminals – including 15 proclaimed offenders – and recovered 165 litres liquor, 740 grams of hashish, one rifle, six pistols and 141 bullets from their possession.
The officials handed over the accused and seized items to the local police for legal action. The PHP team also recovered 200kg spoiled meat from a car – registration number LOR-6688.
The officials also recovered five children namely Mudassar, Muhammad Adnan, Muhammad Aasim, Muhammad Ramazan and Ahmad and reunited them with their parents.
